Nicky's Inspirations
Nicky Carole's encaustic abstract works are both distinctive and mesmerising. The combination of the inspiring flora and fauna of both Portugal and Cornwall, mixed with her emotions of the moment, enables her to create paintings which entice and tease one's senses.
Self-taught, there are no templates, borders or boundaries. We experience the full force of her artistic talent. Nicky has spent many years creating techniques with encaustic wax, which she fuses into hypnotic images.

Where can I find Nicky?
Born in Devon, England, Nicky moved to an idyllic village nestled in the Tamar Valley of Cornwall, where she currently has her studio. Over the past few years she has fallen in love with the beauty and culture of the Algarve, Portugal, and now divides her time between the two.
